My most favorite person in the world turned 27 yesterday.
That’s okay. Clearly he’s still 10 inside, which is one of the best things about him.

So Jeremy and I engaged in a photo challenge this evening. We had one hour to roam around the park and take photos on our phones. We could then process them on our phones and then pick out 10 favorite. This was hard because I took close to 200 photos but here’s my 10. I chose to stick to border less square format except for one vertical panorama. What do you think? Also here are Jeremy’s competing entries.

The leaves are like an inch deep in some parts.
Fall can be even more stunning with some serious blue sky.
I think looking up is one of my favorite things to do this season.
As well as producing bokeh. Hehe.

I was so thrilled to see this little guy on my walk early Sunday morning. Cardinals are such amazing creatures. A flare of red among the other fall colors had me swooning.
When I was dejected about having no subjects to shoot that morning, God provided this, and some others, instead.
I pretty much spent the morning alone, feeling the presence of the Almighty. The great force that drives all the other forces. The unknowable, but definitely detectable presence. The spirit on the other side, and this side of the lens.

I made Jeremy hold this up in like 20 different positions so I could get the bokeh right in the background. Poor guy. He tolerates me.
