We had some intense rains last week. :)
Leaving church last Sunday, I found this guy staring at me on top of my car trunk. He is miniscule but my natural fear of spiders makes me very aware of their presence around me. In fact, just today, I had to make Jeremy pull over into a neighborhood after Thanksgiving with my family so we could toss out a large yellow spider.
And by “had to make” I mean freaking out and demanding while simultaneously whimpering and pondering the onset of spider doom on my vulnerable skin.
Maybe the fact that I fear these little guys also makes me want to photograph them. I mean.. they look right at you.
I try to imagine this meme when I am encountering spiders:
It kind of puts a face on them. Kind of.
I was perusing a list of artists related to deadmau5 when I came across Ellie Goulding. The soft british voice mixed with some synth and a medium beat makes for easy listening. Her cover of “Your Song” by Elton John is refreshing.
She’s an easy listen. Check out Lights and Your Song off her latest album ‘Lights’.

I’m tempted to wait until after tonight to post some epic shots of a birthday party but there’s always next week!
Here’s some mobile photo highlights from last week.

Who says you need a beach to enjoy a hammock??
And I’ll finish with an adorbs picture of my cute friend.
I have no idea what these are but Jeremy and I found some on one of our walks and spent some time trying to photograph it.
Jeremy’s trying to use his phone. I liked his results but they’re not on here. This is what I wound up with, with the best bokeh ever behind it. :]
Here are a couple we chose from to shoot.
OMG I LOVE BOKEH.
