Myself , Jeremy and his sister Lindsay went to Settles Bridge Park to spend this crisp fall day. The hours are short so anytime we can get outside, we take advantage of! It’s a beautiful park. Here are some photos I took with my iPhone. I always feel so blessed to be able to enjoy such beautiful nature so close to where I live. :)
The evening light has been fantastic lately. While I don’t like the fact that the daylight slips away by six, I do enjoy the fact that the evening golden hour happens between 5 and 5:45, making it super convenient to utilize that atmosphere at a reasonable hour.
I’m still thinking about buying myself a 5D Mk III and a 35mm 1.4 soon. I’m starting to get some business again, and things are kind of slow at work because Macys has a deployment freeze during the holidays.
Patience is not my most easily practiced virtue… and my creative itch is getting itchier.
Henry came to visit .. And to be our groomsmen back in September. We all got together and headed to westside where the awesome trees are. I love that place. Beautiful light and a soft, modern touch. I captured Gopika admiring one of the trees.
I can’t wait to go there again! I feel like my possibilities are endless now :)
Part of what makes McDaniel Farm Park stand out is the care the park tenders have for the property. They make an effort to plant flowers, fruit and vegetables, and maintain all the trails.. including the man-made and deer-made ones off the beaten path. The result is a park that is enjoyed by people, dogs and wildlife. There is an abundance of wildlife which is a rare treasure right in the middle of Duluth, between neighborhoods and car dealerships. The weather was stunning last weekend and I spent some much needed one-on-one time with Jeremy and got to practice my wildlife stalking skills. :)
We took a short walk at the park near our house today. Here in Atlanta we’re totally enjoying some late fall colors. It’s stunning outside, you should go! Also I will be posting most of the bigger adventures Jeremy and I have in store on our couples website: jeremyandsunira.com. You can check out wedding and honeymoon photos there for now!
I still think of all the beautiful oceanside scenery around the tourist city of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I honestly can’t wait to take off again and find myself back in Cabo. There’s really nothing ‘foreign’ or ‘international’ about Cabo, other than it’s location. Everything is in US dollars, everyone speaks english, and the activities are all centered around tourists. However, all this is super fun so I’d be pretty excited to be able to spend a week hitting all the watersports, underwater activities, and eating myself silly with all the pseudolocal fare.
What a lovely memory
Election Day has come and gone and we have kept our president the same. Most of my friends are rejoicing, most of my coworkers are depressed and life goes on. I decided to go to boot camp where I totally screwed up my left elbow! This made me feel better this morning. :) It’s President Elmo on the phone with the pentagon.
A few fall mobile photos!
Walking through our park really drove it home that we were back in the USA, and back to our daily lives. Every little thing was familiar, including the smell of it all. It was comfortable, and at the same time the feeling was melancholy. I’m already planning our next adventure. :)
