The weather this weekend in Georgia was spectacular. We enjoyed a good hike up Sawnee mountain yesterday and today, with the temperature hitting 70, we spent a pleasant couple of hours at McDaniel Farm Park.
THe park is still in ‘winter-mode’ meaning there’s no leaves on anything and the birds stay hidden in the brush. Well, the non-predatory birds anyway. This Red Shouldered Hawk was calling from the treetops and I got a chance to use my new tele lens again! These are impressive shots considering how far away he was!
