One of Savannah’s striking features is its historic squares. Each one houses at least one monument and plenty of history to go with it. They’re beautifully designed and are home to some beautiful flowering plants.
At night the squares take on an otherworldly appearance, and you begin to see their ghostly inhabitants out the corner of your eyes.
There are a considerable number of fountains in Savannah.
On a beautiful day, I could see myself hanging out with a book out here in these squares. It’s surprisingly quiet.
Looking up yields spectacular views of dreamy, oak trees enveloped with soft spanish moss.
