There was definitely one sin I was indulging greatly into in Sin City, and that is the sin of chocolate!
(more commonly known as gluttony..!)
The crepe specialists located in Caesar’s Palace, Payard’s, make amazing tantalizing sinfully sweet tongue and eye delights. They only have locations in NYC, Las Vegas, Japan and Korea so it was a unique opportunity to get to eat here. I really enjoyed shooting the details of this place, even though it was a nightmare with the dim lighting and no flash. Still, a good challenge!
Here’s a worker making the crepes.
Doesn’t this just look awful and amazing at the same time?
Beautifully packaged chocolates….
An amazing geared contraption sits in the middle of the store with some fantastic molded chocolate sculptures inside.
Ohhmygosh, delicious macaroons….! Did I mention how much I love pretty, packaged, edible things?
Or, well, they don’t have to be packaged… :)
Lovely chandeliers lined the ceiling.
…which look amazing out of focus! (sorry, you know me, I love bokeh..!)
I really loved the geared machine.
Overall the experience was great. I ordered a chocolate crepe with strawberries. It was a fitting start to my day! Make sure you drop by if you’re ever in Vegas!
