So.. it takes about 130 proof alcohol to burn awesomely. I�m a big fat sissy so this was blown out about 20 seconds after it was lit. I was able to successfully light a cored strawberry filled with rum on a cupcake and it burned for quite a while.
I was able to get a quick low blue flame with 80 proof vodka but it burned out fast. The 130 lasted forever. If you try this at home, please do not drink flaming liquor. You might earn a darwin award if you do. Blow it out, make sure the flame is not low, and then ingest it.
