I couldn’t wait to post this one because I love it so much. I took a long walk with my brother yesterday and came across some trees glowing in the setting sun.
There’s just something about the dying leaves that makes them look like they’re full of life at the dusk of their existence. I guess it’s the vibrant colors and fluid movement of autumn itself. Like the world is emulating a sun burning out. One explosion of intensity and then it’s gray and dark. Thankfully we live on mother earth, who allows us to watch this process over and over every year, its impermanence a part of what makes it all so beautiful.
