Last year I felt like I missed every season, every detail of so many beautiful things around me. This year I’m sort of trying to make up for it. I see so many details, and enjoy them all. I am so wholly attracted to the simpler things in life and they’ve certainly never let me down! I may post bits of this park over and over, but something beautiful is always happening there that I just have to share.
What’s up buttercup?
Purples and yellows are big this season. ;)
The peas made me reminisce about high school biology class. :)
No shoelaces needed to enjoy moshing around some fresh spring greens.
I’ve watched the seasons change around this bridge for years now.
Sweet little purple flowers.
My favorite little spring flowers. They’re tiny and barely noticeable when you’re not looking for them.
I only had my wedding ring on me. Perfect natural setting for a ring shot. Couldn’t help myself.
Lovely.
I can’t stop looking up!
The vine growing around this tree gave it a mystical look.
The pale rich spring green is one of my favorite colors.
Looked like honeysuckle… maybe a distant relative?
We watched this little spider keep his web clean from falling flower debris.
Green spring life everywhere.
Nice patterns.
I can’t quite tell the male from the female but they were both impressive.
The treat for the evening was the barred owl and it’s mate, in a tree far above us.
Signs of spring everywhere.
I like this cloud formation.
The moon is half risen.
Next time I go I think I’ll go down this path.
A sweet little finch.
