One of the nicer things we got to do on our four day mini vacation in Asheville was visit Craggy Pinnacle. It’s located fairly close to Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The views and scenes traveling up there are spectacular. The saturation of the greens lining the dark gray street seemed unreal. A common thread of Asheville was the lush growth throughout. Flowers, gardens, mountainsides and street, all densely populated with the richest foliage I’ve ever seen.
Next hike? :)
The mountains are beautiful
The trees are more deciduous here than in GA.
Tunnel!
We reach the bottom of Craggy dome. Now to hike up!
It’s beautiful in here.
Tree!
It rained the entire time.
Can you tell I like reflections?
Lush, wet paths.
Oh it led here.
Hmm.. where does this lead?
And up these stairs..
Windblown, rain shaped grasses on top.
:)
Jeremy has to do pushup.s
What a beautiful day.
Oooh wow look at this view.
And the view on the other side,
I am not sure what I am doing here.
A small gray bird we encountered.
Back at the lot.
